China tibet tour, Sichuan-Tibet, section 3

Today we will climb a mountain, called Quer Mountain. It is the highest and most dangerous mountain in the Sichuan-Tibet line. And I finally understand why Tibet’s road called sky road…

Line: Ganzi-Maniganggo-Dege-Jinsha River Bridge-Jomda-Qamdo

Arrive Dege. First we went to the Dege Sutra Printing House, it well known as Encyclopedia of Tibetan culture. You can visit the Sutra printing process here.

I finally understand why Tibet’s road called sky road…

Arrive the town of Qamdo. We visited the Qamdo Temple. Qamdo Temple relationship with the mainland Dynasty has always been very close. It has thousand-year history.
