how to submit your website to bing

Bing.com, it’s a new search engine. You can submit your website to it easily.

Step 1. Open its webmaster url :　http://www.bing.com/webmaster ,  you may use your hotmail account signin or create a new account.

Step 2: When you signin, you’ll find a button of  “Add a site”, click it then bing will require to fill some info.

If you have a sitemap.xml already, then fill the address, others let it blank.

Step 3: bing need to verify if you are the owner of the site. There are two methods: one is xml file and the other is meta data. In my option, the xml is easier. Download it and upload it to the root of your site.

Step 4: After the authenticate method done, you can return to site list. You’ll find the site has been added!

Step 5: Click the web address that you just added, you’ll find the details about your site. You can view summary and indexed urls. You can add the sitemap again if you did’t submit it yet.
